We now have trophies for highest-voted art of the day, week, and month! Also, we've gone back and given the trophies that the art from the past few months should have won.

Also, we're hoping as many of the art portal members as possible will be around for our "reboot" this afternoon. Since a member of the portal can only extend 4 offers a day, the portal will get back up to speed if everyone is around to accept them. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, see Tom's front page post.)

Because sometimes, some things are up voted by the person who submitted, and no one else votes on the submission.

Submissions must have at least 30 votes to be considered for an award. On the other hand, if you think a submission has too high a score, vote it down! After all, it's up to you guys to make this site have the content you want. I'm just the programmer.

Are there no contest for the art portal? If there is nothing to get out of this but trophies, which have no value what so ever. Then I see the whole art portal is a big waste of time, for the artist and you people.
Also you can't be considered a artist if you make art pictures, that doesn't make any sense to me.

If a user's art happens to win a trophy, and they become unscouted for 1 reason or another, do they lose there trophy as well?

Also, why isn't there trophies for the audio portal? I would have thought that it would have gotten trophies before the art portal.

Example: MoriChax.newgrounds.com has one a daily 5th for art, but when you are on her page, it says she has no trophies

The only problem I have with the art portal is that when you click on reviews on your own userpage, you only see the audio and flash reviews. I want to be able to see all the art I've commented on.

But otherwise I think the art portal is great and I think you did a fantastic job!

But seriously, that's nice. gives people more of an incentive to work hard on their art, for a permanent piece of evidence that they got an award.

It would be cool to have some sort of a feature that allows collaborative efforts, both for the art and audio portal, I've been seeing a lot of collaborative sumbissions, I just think it would be extremely practical

I'm going to have to go ahead and agree with the others on the Audio Portal. That's been around for years and the most love the musicians get is a pat on the back for being used in someone's submission.
